Although my interests in fashion are constantly changing and expanding, I feel particularly drawn to juxtaposing elements, deconstruction, and big shapes.
A twist on traditional leg warmers, incorporating functional elements as seen in leg gaiters and outdoors gear.
Living between the intersection of delicate and bold, the fanny pack combines very soft fabrics in warm tones with nylon webbing and a sturdy 2" buckle. The simple construction and general shape was inspired by minimalist designers such as Jil Sander, while the straps and adjustable features are borrowed from the military apparel formal vocabulary.
Made of 1 upcycled flannel shirt and sweatpants, the wide bottom trousers are adjustable on the waist and lightweight. The seams are emphasized to show the garment's construction.
